Artist, writer, Occupational Therapist. The skills are different but they all come from the same place.
I believe that people can be multifaceted. Like an octopus with tentacles that go in different directions, all connected to the same center, I have a wide variety of skills and interests that yield into each other in ways I'm still discovering.
From a B.A. in Literature at Purchase College, to time spent moving across the country, to a degree and years of experience in Occupational Therapy, I've developed some skills and refined others. At my core I'm a creative who loves to share art and stories, and someone who feels deeply and wants to help others.
RobynDe. is where all of that lives together. The art, the writing, the body knowledge. It's all part of the same practice. I hope something here speaks to you, and that whatever you love making, you get to keep making it.
What I bring
Original works in watercolor, acrylic, and ink. Mythology, gothic, abstract, domestic — art born from lived experience and a love of the strange and beautiful.
Years of clinical experience focused on helping people maintain and reclaim the activities that matter most to them. Specialized interest in creative longevity for makers and hobbyists.
Dramatic writing, short fiction, and a novel currently in editing. A B.A. in Literature underpins a lifelong writing practice. Scripts and story commissions open.
